    Basalt fiber geogrid is a planar grid material made of high-strength basalt fiber yarns and woven into a grid like substrate using advanced warp knitting technology. It adopts a warp knitting oriented structure, fully utilizing the strength of the yarns in the fabric, making it have good tensile strength, tear resistance, and creep resistance. It has been coated and processed on the surface.


    Forming process
    A semi rigid product made from high-strength basalt fibers and woven into a grid like substrate through advanced warp knitting technology, followed by surface coating, drying, and molding.

    Product Advantages
    Basalt fiber geogrids have the following advantages for asphalt pavement reinforcement:
    (1) Meet the construction temperature requirements
    When paving the mixture, the geogrid needs to withstand high temperatures ranging from 100 ℃ to 200 ℃, and the working temperature of basalt fiber can reach 700 ℃, so its performance will not be affected by high temperatures.
    (2) Strong durability
    Basalt fiber geogrid can resist various physical abrasion and chemical erosion, and has strong anti-aging performance. Basalt fiber geogrid disperses the wheel load stress in the asphalt pavement to reduce stress concentration. At the same time, basalt fiber has little deformation under long-term load, which can maintain its performance for a long time. To some extent, it can reduce pavement deflection and deformation, thereby improving the performance of asphalt pavement.
    (3) Geogrid can limit the movement of aggregates in the mixture and improve the high-temperature deformation resistance of the pavement; Under low temperature conditions in winter, geogrids can offset the tensile stress of asphalt pavement, reduce the generation of shrinkage cracks and reflective cracks, and improve the low-temperature resistance of the pavement.
